Are you aged between 14-19years old and interested in learning more about British wildlife and the work we do in rescue centres to help a variety of species?
This course is adapted from our popular 3-day working with Wildlife summer course. ‘Working with Wildlife in a day’ provides the opportunity for you to learn about some of the common species admitted to rescue centres in the UK, how we rescue and rehabilitate them and what happens when we send them for release.
The day compromises of a mixture of hands on practical’s and lectures. You’ll have the chance to ask lots of questions and get to take home the wildlife house you build to encourage wildlife into your garden.
This course is ideal for anyone wanting to study ecology, conservation or veterinary science.
Those attending the course will receive a £30 discount voucher to attend the Working with Wildlife Course in 2024 along with a voucher for £10 off the SWWR ‘Introduction to Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation’ book.
