Teen/Young Adult Learning
Secret World are a respected source of expertise and centre of excellence where British wildlife can receive the best care. We share this knowledge with those who have a keen interest in learning more about caring for wildlife as well as those in a professional capacity, such as veterinary surgeons and nurses.
We offer a number of courses focusing on wildlife first aid and rehabilitation. Our latest addition to our courses is a 3 day short course for young people looking to get an introduction into working with wildlife.
Our Wildlife Course for young people is suitable for anyone aged 14-19 years old who has an interest in wildlife. This course is ideal for anyone wanting to study ecology, conservation or veterinary science.
This Wildlife Course for young people will be run over 3 days. Each day consists of a mixture of lectures and hands on practical sessions.
Those attending the course will receive a printed certificate in SWWR Working with Wildlife. As an extra incentive, those attending will also receive a voucher for £10 off the SWWR ‘Introduction to Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation’ book.
Course Tutors: George Bethell (SWWR Learning and Engagement Officer) and Liz Mullineaux (SWWR Scientific Advisor).
