This 2-hour session will give children and their parents the chance to find out about one of Britain’s favourite wild animals- the humble hedgehog. After finding out about some of the dangers these prickly creatures face and how you can help them. You’ll also then get the chance to build a hedgehog house that you can take home to provide shelter for the local hedgehogs in your area.
This activity is best suited for children aged 8 and above, all children MUST be accompanied by an adult.
Thursday 26th October 2023
10am-12pm
£30 per child (includes a squash and biscuit break)

Please note there is a minimum number of attendees required to run this activity and we reserve the right to cancel if this number is not met. The decision will be made on Wednesday 18th October and a full refund will be offered if the session is cancelled.
Please note:
We will not be meeting hedgehogs during this session, instead we will be using photos and videos of hedgehog casualties. We are committed to keeping injured and orphaned animals away from human contact so they can be safely released back into the wild.
