  • The care of garden birds whilst in captivity
  • Some of the common reasons for admissions of garden birds to vets and wildlife centres
  • The care of nestling and fledgling garden birds

The course will be led by Katie Gibbs and Dan Bryant (SWWR Wildlife Care Supervisors), both of whom have many years of experience in dealing with garden birds. SWWR Scientific Advisor Dr Liz Mullineaux will contribute information on diseases and other clinical conditions.

The courses will be run virtually (online using Zoom) as a half day (4hr) event. It is possible to attend the courses online on the day or as a recorded presentation, sent to registered delegates and accessible for a limited time after the course.

Those attending will receive an electronic certificate, as well as a selection of relevant open access scientific papers and other supporting electronic information.
