Caring for British Wildlife Conference 2027
February 6, 2027 @ 10:00 am – February 7, 2027 @ 5:00 pm
Join us for our annual wildlife conference
We are delighted to announce that the Caring for British Wildlife Conference returns on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th February 2027, this year at the Village Hotel Bristol, Filton.
Bringing together wildlife rehabilitators, conservationists, veterinary professionals, students and wildlife enthusiasts from across the UK, our annual conference offers two inspiring days of learning, discussion and networking.
Saturday will focus on wildlife conservation, while Sunday will explore the latest developments in wildlife rehabilitation, veterinary care and release. Whether you are an experienced wildlife rehabilitator, a veterinary professional, studying animal care, or simply passionate about British wildlife, there will be something for everyone.
Our speaker programme will once again feature leading voices from across the wildlife sector, sharing practical knowledge, research, case studies and conservation successes. The full programme and speaker line-up will be announced over the coming months.
The Village Hotel Bristol, Filton offers excellent motorway links, free parking and comfortable on-site accommodation, making it an ideal venue for delegates travelling from across the country.
As always, attendees can expect high-quality presentations, excellent audio-visual facilities, plenty of opportunities to network with fellow delegates, and great food throughout the weekend.

As part of the conference weekend, we are pleased to offer a limited number of exclusive tours of Secret World Wildlife Rescue’s wildlife hospital on Monday 8th February 2027.
These guided tours provide a rare opportunity to step behind the scenes and learn more about the work involved in caring for sick, injured and orphaned British wildlife.
To ensure the welfare of our patients, animals will not be visible during the tour, allowing them to recover with minimal disturbance.
Each visit also includes refreshments in our barn and the opportunity to speak informally with members of the Secret World team.
Hospital tours are £10 per person. Spaces are limited and advance booking is essential.
Monday 8th February 2027
Following the success of previous years, we are pleased to once again host our Wildlife Hospitals Meeting on the Monday following the conference.
Open to representatives from wildlife rescue organisations across the UK and beyond, this informal meeting provides a valuable opportunity to come together, share experiences and strengthen collaboration across the sector.
Discussions will cover a range of topics, including the challenges currently facing wildlife rescue centres, fundraising successes, volunteer recruitment, veterinary care, animal welfare, rehabilitation techniques and memorable wildlife rescue stories. There will also be plenty of opportunity for open discussion, networking and sharing ideas with colleagues from across the wildlife rehabilitation community.
The meeting will take place at the Village Hotel Bristol, Filton, at a cost of £10 per representative to cover venue hire and refreshments. Places are limited and advance booking is essential.
We are pleased to offer 15% off conference tickets for students.
